Action Mesothelioma Day - July 2023

We headed to the Mshed on Bristol Harbourside again this year for Action Mesothelioma Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of mesothelioma and the ongoing dangers of asbestos. 

We were able to meet in the café outside to enjoy a cuppa and chat as the sun was finally shining! It was wonderful to see so many patients, carers, family members, healthcare professionals and specialist mesothelioma solicitors gather as Anna Morley, Mesothelioma UK specialist nurse spoke about the recent changes in treatment for mesothelioma and the research studies offering hope for the future.  She provided an opportunity to reflect and remember all those who have sadly lost their lives to this devastating disease.

It was fabulous to have support of AMD by the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, who agreed to light up City Hall in blue that evening which looked very impressive!
